What is collected
- Recordings and their metadata: stored on the device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
- Offline transcription: processed on the device (Vosk). Audio never leaves it.
- Advertising data: the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect the device information it needs to serve ads, including the advertising ID.
- Cloud export (optional): when you ask for it, audio files are transferred to Google Drive, Dropbox or a similar service.

Third parties and what leaves the device
Nothing is sent to our servers, and we do not disclose data to third parties at our discretion. What goes to the ad SDK, or to a cloud service you chose, is governed by that company's terms.
Why each permission is requested
- RECORD_AUDIO: recording
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: showing that recording is in progress
- READ_MEDIA_AUDIO and similar: saving and sharing recordings
- READ_PHONE_STATE: staying stable when a call comes in
- BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: using an external microphone
- MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: input routing and similar
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: ads and cloud export
Retention and safeguards
Recordings are stored on the device and can be deleted by you. Nothing accumulates on our servers.
